Resident Referral Scheme

Posted by admin

Turners Parks would like to remind you of our sale referral scheme.

As a resident living on one of our parks you are our best advert.

As such Turners would like to offer you a £500 incentive payment for the introduction of a new customer which results in the successful sale of one of our new homes.

If you have a friend or family member who may be interested in park home living please call our office or pass on a member of our staff’s contact details and this will entitle you, should they buy a home, to the £500 incentive payment.

Make sure you tell us of their interest and that you introduced them. If we don’t know we can’t pay.

Although we are always grateful to residents for the kind welcome you give to people walking around the park this would not qualify as a new introduction as they were already aware of the park and Turners Parks through other means.

Customer Referral Scheme Terms & Conditions

1. You (“the Referee”) must be a resident of Turners Parks Group and be named on a current Mobile Home Agreement.

A fantastic £750 has been raised by St John’s and Lechlade Court Resident’s Associations for Macmillan. An abundance of cake proved a winner with residents and attendance was high. An excellent achievement and amount of money for a very worthy cause. Well done all!

Christmas Fayre Fundraiser

Takeley Park Residents’ Association working with Turners Parks Group raised £840 at their annual Christmas Charity Fayre on the 27th December.

The money raised will be divided equally between three local charities, the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices; (EACH), Riding for the Disabled and Grove Cottage: MENCAP).

During the past year our joint charity events have raised over £4,000 for charitable causes. A big thank you to all the residents and to our Park Manager, Teena Ettridge, who support and take part in these events.

Silver for Takeley Park!

Takeley Park has received a Silver award from David Bellamy as part of his Conservation Award Scheme in this year’s assessment.

The park joined the award scheme last year and achieved a Bronze accolade, to achieve a Silver award just 12 months later is a fantastic achievement.

Launched in 1996, the David Bellamy Award Scheme looks at how residential and leisure park home sites across the country are looking after their natural environment. The scheme assesses the park’s commitment to promoting natural habitats for wildlife, reducing energy usage, encouraging recycling and how waste products are reused.  Members of local conservation bodies and wildlife trusts assess participating parks and report their findings to David Bellamy who then reviews the report and decides if the park has met relevant criteria for an award.

The award achieved by Takeley Park recognises our commitment to supporting the natural environment as well as providing suitable habitats for birds and animals on the park.

In addition to joining the David Bellamy Conservation Award Scheme Takeley Park has also taken the ‘Honey Bee Pledge’. This scheme recognises the importance of the native honey bee population and ensures planting schemes on the park help the bees to thrive. Bee hotels kindly constructed by some of our residents and installed throughout the park further encourage the bee population.

The Takeley Park Residents’ Association have worked fantastically hard alongside the park wardens to help clear a previously neglected area of woodland which had not been managed for 25 years. With the installation of additional planting schemes, bee hotels, bird boxes, benches and bat boxes the woodland footpath through is now a pleasant area for residents to enjoy a stroll.

Well done all!
